Nov 23 Element x Crunchtime Artists //NO street NO art Element joined forces with Crunchtime artists based in Vienna, Austria for a skateboard live-painting project this autumn. Decks coming out of artists' series by skateboard companies are usually either too exclusive or too expensive to be skated. Hence, they usually end up on a wall in a living room. But you know what - NO street NO art! Crunchtime is a crew of young art scene fellows from all over the world who joined forces with element to change that dogma for good! They painted 30 boards in summer 2009 and are going to sell them now for only 50 Euro to true skateboarders. Sales point will be one of the "Art Corners" of the SNEAKERNESS tradeshow in Vienna, 10 October 2009. All buyers will be asked to bring back their boards to the notorious INOPERAbLE Gallery in Vienna, 19 December, to showcase their skated boards again together with skatephotos and impressions of the Crunchtime painting sessions. Fefe Talavera (Brasil), Smurf (Austria), Stereotyp (Austria), AraByrd (Malaysia), Cee (Germany) and Momo1030 (Austria) painted the boards at a plaza in Vienna and a nearby lake called Wienerbergsee. Two more painting sessions will be happening soon - We can't wait to see the results!
Nov 09 Jeremy Fish's art show "Weathering the Storm" opened to a long line of anxious viewers at the Laguna Art Museum. If you live in the Southern California area, its not to be missed, an incredible show to say the least. The show runs through January 17, 2010.

Aug 27 Titus skate shop in Brietlingen, Germany hosted a premiere for Chapter One of MAKE IT COUNT: The Element Story. The event was complete with beers, brats, and a flat bar session, click here for event photos.
Aug 10 The East Coast Tour came to a close with a great demo and signing in Frederick, MD. The day started at Pit Crew with a massive signing, and ended at the skate park with a demo. Thanks to Muska's encouragement, the skies parted ways after a short rain, and the Element team killed it. Check out video and photos from the day that includes Bam Margera, Chad Muska, Levi Brown, Mike V, Collin Provost, Chad Tim Tim and Darrell Stanton. Thanks to everyone that came out, especially Tim and everyone at Pit Crew for a last day of tour that couldn't have been better.

Aug 06 Wilmington, NC is complete after an amazing demo. The demo followed with a team signing and into the night with an after party and MAKE IT COUNT showing. Darrell Stanton and Levi Brown added to the lineup, rounding out an alreadt great crew that includes Bam, Mike V, Tim Tim, Collin Provost and Muska kilin it on the mic.
