Copyright and Intellectual Property Policy
VUVOX takes copyright ownership and protection serious. We want our customers and partners to do the same.
Just to make sure we are all on the same page: You own your Content !
VUVOX Network, Inc. does not claim any ownership rights in the text, files, images, photos, video, sounds, musical works, works of authorship, or any other materials (collectively, "Content") that you post to the VUVOX Site (“VUVOX”). After posting your Content to VUVOX, you continue to retain all ownership rights in such Content, and you continue to have the right to use your Content in any way you choose, as long as you adhere to our Terms of Use and Code of Conduct. By displaying or publishing ("posting") any Content on or through VUVOX, you hereby grant to VUVOX a limited license to use, modify, publicly perform, publicly display, reproduce, and distribute such Content solely on and through the VUVOX.
Without this license, VUVOX would be unable to provide VUVOX. For example, without the right to modify Member Content, VUVOX would not be able to digitally compress music or image files that Members submit or otherwise format Content to satisfy technical requirements. Without the right to publicly perform Member Content, VUVOX could not allow users to listen to music posted by other Members.
The license you grant to VUVOX is non-exclusive (meaning you are free to license your Content to anyone else in addition to VUVOX), fully-paid and royalty-free (meaning that VUVOX is not required to pay you for the use on VUVOX of the Content that you post), sub-licensable (so that VUVOX is able to use its affiliates and subcontractors such as Internet content delivery networks to provide VUVOX), and worldwide (because the Internet and VUVOX are global in reach). This license will terminate at the time you remove your Content from VUVOX. The license does not grant VUVOX the right to sell your Content, nor does the license grant VUVOX the right to distribute your Content outside of VUVOX or the Services provide by VUVOX Network, Inc.
You represent and warrant that: (i) you own the Content posted by you on or through the VUVOX or otherwise have the right to grant the license set forth in this section, and (ii) the posting of your Content on or through the VUVOX does not violate the privacy rights, publicity rights, copyrights, contract rights or any other rights of any person. You agree to pay for all royalties, fees, and any other monies owing any person by reason of any Content posted by you to or through the VUVOX.
VUVOX has no responsibility for content on other web sites that you may find or access when using VUVOX’s products or services. Material that is available on or through other web sites may be protected by copyright and the intellectual property laws of the United States and/or other countries. The terms of use of those web sites, and not the VUVOX’s Terms of Service, govern your use of that material.
It is VUVOX’s policy, in appropriate circumstances and at its discretion, to disable and/or terminate the accounts of users who may infringe or repeatedly infringe the copyrights or other intellectual property rights of VUVOX and/or others.

Notice for Claims of Intellectual Property Violations and Agent for Notice
If you believe that your work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, or that your intellectual property rights have been otherwise violated, please provide VUVOX Copyright Agent with the following information:
1. an electronic or physical signature of the person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright or other intellectual property interest;
2. a description of the copyrighted work or other intellectual property that you claim has been infringed;
3. a description of where the material that you claim is infringing is located on the Yahoo! site, with enough detail that we may find it on the web site;
4. your address, telephone number, and email address;
5. a statement by you that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright or intellectual property owner, its agent, or the law;
6. a statement by you, made under penalty of perjury, that the above information in your Notice is accurate and that you are the copyright or intellectual property owner or authorized to act on the copyright or intellectual property owner's behalf.
