Code of Conduct

PLEASE READ THIS CODE OF CONDUCT CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THE SITE. By using the Site, you signify your agreement to this Code of Conduct. If you do not agree to this Code of Conduct, you may not use Site. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify this Code of Conduct at any time.
Do the Right Thing:
* Respect copyright ! Only upload media that you made or that you have obtained the rights to use. Don’t upload media that you didn't make, or use content in your stories that someone else owns the copyright to, such as music tracks, snippets of copyrighted programs, or videos made by other users, without their permission. Read our Copyright Policy for more information.
*Don't delete any legal notices, disclaimers or proprietary notices such as copyright or trademark symbols, or modify any logos that you do not own or have express permission to modify.
* We encourage free speech and defend your right to express unpopular points of view. But we don't permit hate speech, which contains slurs or the malicious use of stereotypes intended to attack or demean a particular gender, sexual orientation, race, religion, or nationality.
* Don't use inappropriate or offensive language. This includes comments that look, sound like, stand for, hint at, advocate, abbreviate or insinuate any of the following: profane, vulgar, suggestive or lewd language, deformation.
* Don't defend yourself against profane attacks with profanity, as you will be treated in the same manner as the originator.
* There is zero tolerance for predatory behavior, stalking, threats, harassment, invading privacy, spamming, or the revealing of other members' personal information. Anyone caught doing these things may be permanently banned from VUVOX.
* Don't use the Site to do or promote anything illegal. This includes the promotion of illegal drugs/controlled substances or other illegal activities.
* Although we prohibit certain activities in this Code of Conduct and in our Site terms, VUVOX isn't responsible for anything you post, distribute or otherwise make available on the Site or for anything that happens because of what you post, distribute or otherwise make available. You alone are responsible.
* Don't create a forum or topic name that references controversial religious topics, notorious people or organizations or sensitive current or historical events that may also be considered inappropriate.
* Don't post links to Web sites that violate the Code of Conduct.
* Don’t distribute another person's personal information of any kind without his or her express permission.
* Don't post links to materials that could harm other users' computers or would allow others to inappropriately access software or Web sites.
* Don't impersonate, harass or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity, including without limitation VUVOX employees, moderators or staff members.
* Any conversation not related to VUVOX products or services, or a designated topic or theme of a forum, that takes up a substantial amount of the forum and prevents users from finding information about VUVOX products or services may be considered a violation of the Code of Conduct. Avoid excessive shouting (use of all-caps) or flooding (continuous posting of repetitive text).
* Don't use the Site and forums for any commercial purpose without the express written consent of VUVOX, including but not limited to advertising or selling any products, services or otherwise (whether or not for profit) or solicitation of others. You may only create an account for yourself as an individual. You may not create an account for your corporation or other business entity.

Enforcement
Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in this Code of Conduct, VUVOX reserves the right, but does not assume the obligation, to investigate any violation of this Code of Conduct or any other misuse of our systems, equipment or network. We further reserve the right and have absolute discretion, without obligation, to enforce this Code of Conduct and to suspend, terminate, remove or disable access to user accounts and to screen or edit any postings, content or transmissions that violate this Code of Conduct or are otherwise objectionable and take such other actions as VUVOX in its sole discretion deems reasonable without any prior warning. Without limitation and notwithstanding the provisions of our Privacy Policy, we reserve the right to report any activity that we suspect violates any law or regulation (including the disclosure of appropriate subscriber information) to appropriate law enforcement officials, regulators, Internet service providers or other appropriate third parties. We also may cooperate with appropriate law enforcement agencies to assist in the investigation and prosecution of any illegal conduct. VUVOX is not obligated to warn you before taking these actions. VUVOX is not obligated to monitor every post to a forum or other user-created content, but we have the right to remove at any time, without notice, any post or other user-created content or materials on the Site or to take action against any user.
Some offenses warrant an immediate permanent ban, including (but not limited to) severe racial remarks, profane user names or posting viruses or posting infringing content or URLs to viruses or infringing content, and such ban shall be in VUVOX sole judgment. In addition, trying to avoid a temporary ban by creating a string of new accounts may result in a permanent ban on the new user ID and a possible escalation of punishment of the user having created the original ID.

Amendment
VUVOX reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify this Code of Conduct at any time. In the event we make a material modification to this Code of Conduct, we will (i) post such amended Code of Conduct on the Site; and (ii) update the "last updated" date above. You must agree to such amended Code of Conduct to use the Site, and your continued use of the Site after such modifications constitutes your agreement thereto. Therefore, you should check the Code of Conduct prior to using the Site to see whether there have been any modifications.
